An article on 114 frames, and two posts

Today's piece is a dev.to article about one terminale bug: a 350 ms drop-down slide that rendered 114 frames (327 fps) because each frame resized the window, the resize woke the event loop, and the loop ran the animation again. It includes a small runnable event-loop reproduction and the fix from terminale's changelog, which brought the same close to 20 frames at 58 fps.

Two short posts go out beside it on Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon: a take on Libghostty 1.0 being a stable C library, with rendering still left to a from-scratch GPU terminal, and a 0.1.55 bug where a torn-out window kept its old grid size after the Quake reveal. Neither post links the article.

The eight articles have 4502 views and 9 reactions, so the check on 14 November is whether a bug told end to end draws more reactions or comments than the earlier ones.
